Death and life are mysteries that are difficult to accept human logic. Many still ask if there is another nature after death or is death the end of the human journey? How did life begin the first time? So how does the islamic point of view look at these two things? This time iweblogsite will discuss some quranic verses containing about death and life

Death is the transfer of the spirit from the body, not the end of life. Death is only a transfer from the hereafter to the Hereafter. Death became the gateway to the hereafter.

Life is the opposite of death. Life has different phases in Islam, there is life first in the mother's womb, then life after death, resurrected in the grave

16. QS AL BAQARAH:56

Thumma Baaathnakum min baAAdi mawtikum laAAallakum tashkuroona

Then We revived you after your death that perhaps you would be grateful.

17. QS AL BAQARAH:73

Faqulna idriboohu bibaaadiha kathalika yuhyee Allahu almawta wayureekum ayatihi laaaallakum taaaqiloona

So, We said, “Strike the slain man with part of it.” Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason

18. QS AL BAQARAH:164

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason

19. QS AL BAQARAH:243

Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, “Die”; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.

20. QS AL BAQARAH:259

Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, “How long have you remained?” The man said, “I have remained a day or part of a day.” He said, “Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] – how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh.” And when it became clear to him, he said, “I know that Allah is over all things competent

21. QS AL BAQARAH:260

And [mention] when Abraham said, “My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.” [Allah] said, “Have you not believed?” He said, “Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied.” [Allah] said, “Take four birds and commit them to yourself. Then [after slaughtering them] put on each hill a portion of them; then call them – they will come [flying] to you in haste. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.”

22. QS ALI IMRAN:27

Tooliju allayla fee alnnahari watooliju alnnahara fee allayli watukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti watukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi watarzuqu man tashao bighayri hisabin

You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account.”

23. QS AL ANAM:2

Huwa allathee khalaqakum min teenin thumma qada ajalan waajalun musamman AAindahu thumma antum tamtaroona

It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.

24. QS AL ANAM:95

Indeed, Allah is the cleaver of grain and date seeds. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded?

25. QS AL ARAF:29

Qul amara rabbee bialqisti waaqeemoo wujoohakum AAinda kulli masjidin waodAAoohu mukhliseena lahu alddeena kama badaakum taaaoodoona

Say, [O Muhammad], “My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship of Him] at every place [or time] of prostration, and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion.” Just as He originated you, you will return [to life]

26. QS AL ARAF:57

And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.

27. QS YUNUS:4

Ilayhi marjiaukum jameeaaan waaada Allahi haqqan innahu yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuaaeeduhu liyajziya allatheena amanoo waaaamiloo alssalihati bialqisti waallatheena kafaroo lahum sharabun min hameemin waaaathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona

To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny

28. QS YUNUS:31

Say, “Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?” They will say, “Allah,” so say, “Then will you not fear Him?”

29. QS YUNUS:34

Say, “Are there of your ‘partners’ any who begins creation and then repeats it?” Say, “Allah begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?”

30. QS AL HIJR:23

Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona

And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.

31. QS AN NAHL:70

Waallahu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum waminkum man yuraddu ila arthali al aaumuri likay la yaAAlama baaada aailmin shayan inna Allaha AAaleemun qadeerun

And Allah created you; then He will take you in death. And among you is he who is reversed to the most decrepit [old] age so that he will not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent.

32. QS AL ISRA:51

Aw khalqan mimma yakburu fee sudoorikum fasayaqooloona man yuAAeeduna quli allathee fatarakum awwala marratin fasayunghidoona ilayka ruoosahum wayaqooloona mata huwa qul AAasa an yakoona qareeban

Or some created thing that is yet greater (or harder) in your breasts (thoughts to be resurrected, even then you shall be resurrected) Then, they will say: “Who shall bring us back (to life)?” Say: “He Who created you first!” Then, they will shake their heads at you and say: “When will that be?” Say: “Perhaps it is near!”
